What Kizuki keeps

Your email address and name, the people you add (their name, how you know them, an occasion date, and details you note), and the gift ideas you save. Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build a profile of you.

Analytics

Kizuki uses Google Analytics and PostHog to count visits and see which features get used. On this website's home page that includes how pages are used, with anything typed into a form hidden. Inside the app, it records only which screen you're on and simple events like "an idea was saved". It never records what you write, who you add, or the ideas themselves, and the app is never screen-recorded.

Reading what you capture

When you tap Find the Idea, the text, link, or screenshot you chose is sent to Anthropic's Claude API so it can suggest a gift. Anthropic processes it to produce that answer and does not use it to train its models. Screenshots are not stored by Kizuki; only the idea you choose to save is kept. For a link, Kizuki's server visits the page once to read its title.

Store links

Store buttons open an ordinary search on that store's site. Kizuki earns nothing from them today, and the store's own privacy policy applies once you're there.

Email

Kizuki emails you only for a password reset and for the nudges you switch on (30 days before an occasion, or a weekly question). Turn them off any time on the Nudges tab.

Deleting your data

Nudges, then your account, then Delete My Account erases everything immediately and for good.
